by Jack Bradley, George campus International Education Coordinator
This past Thursday, February 23rd, the George campus of Delaware Tech celebrated Black History Month with our yearly arts festival.
Local performers, vendors, and exhibitors came from all over New Castle County to share their stories. There was a storyteller, drummers, singers, dancers, and many others who shared in this day of celebration.
In addition, there was some wonderful food from a local restaurant. Students enjoyed macaroni and cheese, corn bread with strawberry butter, and crispy fried chicken.
You can check out some of the pictures and videos from the festival on the Delaware Tech Stanton/George Facebook page.
The next Global Understanding events will take place on March 7th at the Owens campus (Global skills: travel tips), March 7th at the Stanton campus (Postcards from Abroad), March 8th at the George campus (Cultures of the World), and March 30th at the Terry campus (International Festival).
