Welcome to 2016!
First, congratulations to those of you already enrolled in study abroad courses! Our awesome DTCC students will be traveling the globe to Vietnam, Switzerland, Peru, Dominican Republic, France, and Italy in 2016.

Why study abroad?
Por que? Wieso den? Per che? Pour quoi? Tai sao?
The subtitle of this blog post asks “why?” in all study abroad course countries’ languages: Spanish, German, Italian, French, and Vietnamese. For those of you who have studied, will study, or want to study abroad, you must have your reasons, right?
I’m sure you’re asked that question all the time. It comes up in the interviews you go through during the application process. Your friends and family ask. What’s in it for you? What are the benefits of studying abroad?
Well, when students study abroad at Delaware Tech, they have a unique opportunity to learn about another culture through direct experience with fellow DTCC students and faculty.
What’s so great about studying abroad is that you can grow personally in many aspects of your life. You will also be able to increase the number of marketable job skills you have in your arsenal.
